Jack was born on the north shore and has lived in the area all his life.  

After leaving takapuna grammar school he spent a a couple of years self studying IT as well as taking some courses.  After a couple of short stints working in IT and finding himself lost he shifted into volunteering with Restoring Takarunga Hauraki.

Through his work with RTH he heard about the Devonport Community Workshop @ The Claystore and decided to try his hand at learning new skills and has greatly enjoyed learning from the wealth of experience many of his fellow volunteers possess.

Jack is a passionate curious person who enjoys learning and has appreciated the support of many of the other Community Workshop volunteers.
